What TubePack does

TubePack helps you download YouTube transcripts, comments, and thumbnails, and bookmark videos, from the YouTube watch page.

Data we collect

• Account information — when you sign in with Google, we receive your email and basic profile identifiers via Supabase Auth to create and manage your TubePack account.
• Authentication data — session tokens stored locally in the extension so you stay signed in.
• Usage / entitlement data — plan status and daily download credits so free and Pro limits work.
• Website content you choose to export — transcripts, comments, and thumbnail URLs from the current YouTube video are fetched to generate downloadable files on your device. We do not build a permanent library of your exports on our servers.
• Bookmarks — saved video metadata is stored in your browser via Chrome local storage.
• Payment data — Pro checkout is processed by Stripe on our website. TubePack does not store full card numbers.

How we use data

We use this data only to provide TubePack’s single purpose: exporting YouTube transcripts, comments, and thumbnails, bookmarking videos, and managing free/Pro access. We do not sell personal data.

Third parties

• Google — sign-in / OAuth
• Supabase — authentication and entitlement backend
• Stripe — subscription payments (website)
• YouTube / Google APIs — fetch video metadata and exports you request

Storage

Extension preferences, bookmarks, and auth session data are stored locally in Chrome storage. Account and plan records are stored in Supabase. You can sign out or uninstall the extension to remove local data.
